In this fruit nail art tutorial series, you will learn how to create some creative nail art using some day to day household items.
Next in the Fruit nail art tutorial series is Sweet corn nailart. This corn maze look was very difficult to get right at first. Every time i pressed the metal net, the polish would stick to it and spoil the entire thing. But i was not ready to give up and went on finding tricks to make it work. Then i greased the metal net with oil and then pressed gently in rolling motion over almost dried layers of polish and Yes! finally got some success. Though its not as good as i expected but still it looks like corn maze 😉
Yellow Polish: Ambika Pillai Hard Candy -Shade 20
Top Coat – Naio UK
Metal Net or Tea strainer
1. Paint multiple coats of yellow polish over a base coat to build up the required thickness. Apply a layer of top coat in between each coat to prevent yellow getting too dark.
2. When the polish is almost dry, press the metal net lightly over nails to imprint the grid and pick up immediately. Do not apply top coat.
3. Incase you get a smudge don’t start all over again. Simply apply an additional coat. The more the layers, better would be texture.
4. For better results, lightly grease the metal net.
