In today’s post I am sharing Zoya Paradise Sun swatches and review. Part II of Zoya Nail Polish Summer 2015 collections.
In my previous post we saw Zoya Island Fun nail polishes enjoying their time on an island in between deep waters! (Click Here for Part I i.e. Zoya Island Fun Swatches) Here are my Zoya Paradise Sun polishes enjoying Sun bath..resting on the beach sand.
While Zoya Island Fun is full coverage creme nail polishes, Zoya Paradise Sun is full coverage metallic polishes. Zoya Paradise Sun nail polishes contains unique liquid glass flecks which give metallic pearl /shimmer finish.
Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Review:
Formula: Not too thick, not too runny. These polishes contain liquid glass flecks. Formula for Isa, Genesis, Aphroite and Mae is little runny with (Sheer) jelly base. These polishes work great for Water marble and gradient nail art just as most of Zoya Nail colors do.
Opacity: Well pigmented, Full coverage in two coat. It glides on nails smoothly with streak free application.
Dry Time: Quick dry. Dries quickly even with 2 coats.
Stamping: These polishes remain little sheer with one coat because of its jelly base. Still all these colors DO Stamp well as these are well pigmented polishes. I was surprised to see how bold they stamp even when it has runny formula.
Staining: Zoya nail polish mentioned on their website that Since these polishes are highly pigmented, Selene (Teal) might stain. So they advise to wear base coat with them.
Lets see Zoya Paradise Sun individual Swatches..
All swatches are with 2 coats of nail colors without base coat and top coat. Except Genesis, which is 3 coats over base coat. I wanted to show all shades in its own pearl finish so all swatches are without any top coat. All images are taken in natural light.
For accent stamping nail:
Base: – Zoya Genesis from Paradise Sun collection.
Stamper – Born Pretty Store double sided Xl stamper
I shall share Stamping plates and Nail vinyl details along with swatches.
Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Review – “Aphroite“
Zoya Paradise Sun – Aphroite is Red shimmer nail polish. This one has jelly base but its well pigmented. This can be worn as one coat as well. You can see how bold and crisp the stamping looks. I have stamped the roses from Moyou London Pro Collection -04. If you wanna skip top coat, carry it with 2 coats for perfect finish.
Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Review – “Mae“
Zoya Paradise Sun – Mae is gorgeous magenta pink. Like Aphroite, even this has jelly base. However this one is well pigmented. See how bold this one stamps. This stamping design is from Moyou London Sailor Collection -03. I tried one more stamping nail art with Zoya Mae, but it got spoiled last minute when i was applying top coat. Nevertheless i thought of sharing step by step nail tutorial i had prepared.

Step 4. Apply Zoya Mae on rest of the nail. Remove straight vinyls immediately. Seal design with top coat.
Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Review – “Isa“
Zoya Paradise Sun – Isa is deep blue base with little purple tint. This looks more of deep blue in pictures but in person this shows the purple tint as well. Again formula for this was little runny with jelly base. The stamping design on accent nail is from Moyou London Sailor Collection -04.
Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Review – “Oceane“

Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Review – “Selene“
Zoya Paradise Sun – Selene is teal green metallic/pearl finish nail polish. like any teal nail color this may stain as well. So its better to wear Selene with good base coat to prevent staining. Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Review – “Genesis“
Last but not the least, Zoya Paradise Sun – Genesis, My favorite and most used polish from this collection. This shimmer white nail polish has such unique color and pearl finish. Formula for Genesis different from rest of nail colors in this collection. This jelly base nail polish is little sheer and requires 2 coats for full opacity. Though 2 coats works good, i like to wear it with 3 coats for opacity as shown in swatch here. Genesis is favorite nail polish of Rebecca Isa (Zoya’s Creative director) as well 😀
In the above image, Rebecca Isa is showing Genesis as her favorite pick during a live broadcast on Periscope. (You can watch full session on their You Tube Channel.)
I had shared in my previous post that Zoya Paradise Sun and Zoya Island fun nail colors are inspired by current make up and fashion trends. I have collected few images from recent red carpet event at Cannes 2015. This shows how Zoya Paradise Sun nail colors are very much hot trending colors in fashion industry this season. Kudos to Rebecca Isa, Zoya’s Creative director and her team for doing such excellent job.
